How do Vaults work?
A vault creator defines a name, a secret prompt (the unlock condition), an optional description, a bounty amount, and an activity fee. The vault remains 'locked' until a user's interaction convinces the AI guardian that the prompt's conditions have been met.
What is the role of the AI?
Each vault is guarded by an AI (powered by GPT-4). The AI analyzes the conversation between a user and the vault, comparing it against the secret prompt set by the vault creator. Based on this analysis, the AI decides whether to grant access (unlock the vault) or deny it, providing an explanation for its decision.
How do bounties work?
When creating a vault, the owner sets a bounty amount, which is deducted from their balance. If another user successfully interacts with the vault and the AI grants access, that user can claim the bounty, which is then added to their balance.
What are activity fees?
Interacting with a vault (sending messages) costs a small activity fee, which is set by the vault creator. This fee is deducted from the interacting user's balance and typically transferred to the vault owner.
How does the balance system work?
Users have an account balance used for setting bounties, paying activity fees, and receiving claimed bounties. You may also be able to top up your balance or withdraw funds (details depend on specific implementation). Your balance history tracks all these transactions.
How do I create a Vault?
Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard. You should find a 'Create New Vault' button, which will guide you through the process of setting up your vault's name, prompt, bounty, and activity fee.
How do I interact with a Vault?
From the dashboard or vault listings, you can select a vault to view its details (excluding the secret prompt). You can then start sending messages in the chat interface, trying to figure out and satisfy the hidden prompt.
